You need to start preparing for GKS now.

Many students underestimate how lengthy the process of applying to GKS.

Most of our students who had undergone and currently undergoing our mentorship for winning GKS started 8-10 months before the application opens. This is because there are so many things to prepare in the application.

For context, GKS-U 2025 will open on September 2024, and GKS-G 2025 will open on March 2025.

For GKS-U, there’s about 3 months left to prepare
For GKS-G, there’s about 9 months left to prepare

You may think that’s a lot of time but take a look at this timeline from our previous students. In our mentorship program students follow a schedule and what we found out are the average time to prepare specific requirements:

Letters of recommendation: 1~2 months
Personal Statement: 2 months
Study Plan: 1 month
Grades/Transcripts/Diplomas: 1 month
Language Proficiency Exams: 1~2 months
Thesis/Research/Projects/Publications: 1 month
Other Certificates or Documents such as Passport, Proof of Citizenship, etc: 1 month

That’s about 8 months on the low end. Those who have prepared most of it in advanced, could finish them in 4 months.

Most who join our mentorship program late, had to speed up everything and miss a lot of deadlines. You don’t want to be that kind of applicant who rushes things at the end. You will make a lost of mistakes.

Below, I attached our general schedule for GKS-U and GKS-G. You can still catch up if you join us this month. Our students are currently busy preparing for their letters of recommendation and we’re helping them write it. The way it works is that when the student joins, they have to go through different levels from Level 0 to Level 8. This makes sure they follow all instructions and are not confused on what to do first. They can finish the levels as fast or as slow as they want but we make sure that they can finish everything at the right time by constantly reminding them about the deadlines. Ultimately, we are there throughout their entire GKS journey even after they arrive in Korea. Join us for free and see how we do it.
